RULES

By entering the sweepstakes, you agree to providing your personal information to Gutter Guards America, LLC and you agree to allow Gutter Guards America, LLC to contact you about their services, including offering to schedule an appointment for a free, no obligation estimate on a gutter and gutter guard system for your home. No purchase necessary. Purchasing a gutter or gutter guard system from Gutter Guards America, LLC will not increase your chances of winning the grand prize. Void where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligible entrants must reside in and own one (1) single-family home in Gutter Guards America, LLC’s service area, which is limited to portions of Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, and South Carolina. Please contact Gutter Guards America, LLC for a full list of areas served. Eligible entrants must be at least 21 years of age or older. Eligible entrants must be a legal US citizen. All information submitted must be valid. Eligible entrants will be responsible for all income taxes associated with the grand prize. Employees and their family members, including but not limited to spouse, parent, child, and more, of Gutter Guards America, LCC are not eligible.

ENTRY PERIOD

Entry into the sweepstakes starts November 23, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends April 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Chances of winning are dependent on the number of entrants in the given entry period.

HOW TO ENTER

Entry will be accepted through the sweepstakes form located at gutterguardsamerica.com/sweepstakes. Entrants must provide all required information, including first name, last name, home address, email address, and phone number. Eligible entrants must also confirm that they own one (1) home and agree to the terms and conditions of the sweepstakes. All eligible entrants must meet the Eligibility criteria.

PRIZE AND DRAWING

One (1) grand prize of a free gutter and gutter guard system not exceeding a retail value of $10,000 USD will be awarded. Gutters will be either 5- or 6-inch seamless aluminum available in a variety of colors. Gutter guards will be the Valor gutter guard system installed by Gutter Guards America, LLC. Winner will be chosen through a random selection of the entries submitted during the Entry Period and following the guidelines in How to Enter. If the grand prize winner has already installed a gutter and gutter guard system on their home from Gutter Guards America, LLC, Gutter Guards America, LLC will refund the grand prize winner the amount of their purchase not exceeding a retail value of $10,000 USD. If the grand prize winner has already installed a gutter guard system on their home from Gutter Guards America, LLC, Gutter Guards America, LLC will refund the grand prize winner the amount of their purchase not exceeding a retail value of $10,000 USD. If the grand prize winner has already installed only a gutter system on their home from Gutter Guards, America, LLC, Gutter Guards America, LLC will install a new gutter guard system onto their existing gutters not exceeding a retail value of $10,000 USD. If the grand prize winner does not have a gutter and gutter guard system on their home from Gutter Guards America, LLC, Gutter Guards America, LLC will install a new gutter and gutter guard system not exceeding a retail value of $10,000 USD on their home.

NOTIFICATION

Grand prize winner will be selected and notified by phone and/or email and must claim prize within 14 days of notification. Failure to accept notification of winning the grand prize in the allotted time will cause the winner to forfeit their prize and a runner up will be selected for the grand prize in their place.

RESTRICTIONS

Grand prize does not apply to condos or townhomes. Grand prize winner must reside in a single-family building. Installation of the grand prize is limited to the home structure and does not include garages or other detached buildings. Gutter installation is only for k-style, 5- or 6- inch seamless aluminum. Depending on the structure of the home and surrounding obstacles, Gutter Guards America, LLC reserves the right to deem the installation unsuitable and will withdraw offer. There is no recourse on the value of the gutter and gutter guard installation. Normal paperwork associated with a sale from Gutter Guards America, LLC applies, including an assessment of the homeowner’s property to determine feasibility in installing the grand prize. Upon winning the drawing, Gutter Guards America, LLC will perform an onsite inspection to determine if home meets specification and within Gutter Guards America, LLC’s scope of work. Items to be considered out of scope include but are not limited to: structural issues around home, box gutters, copper gutters, half round gutters, surrounding obstacles, height of home, and more. The grand prize winner agrees to have the installation completed by Gutter Guards America, LLC’s preferred and provided installation crew. Grand prize winner must have their prize installed within one (1) month of accepting the prize and completing all associated paperwork. Prize is non-transferable. All decisions are final and as determined by Gutter Guards America, LLC.

PROMOTIONAL CONSENT

Grand prize winner agrees to have their name, image, city and state of residence, and likeness published online and in print through, including and not limited to: social media posts, website blogs, press releases, communications, and more. There will be no additional compensation provided to the grand prize winner for providing and using their name, image, city and state of residence, and likeness published online and in print. Grand prize winner must sign and return to Gutter Guards America, LLC an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release before installation of the grand prize is complete. Failure to comply will result in a disqualification of the grand prize and a runner up will be chosen in their place.

TAXES AND FEES

Grand prize value does not include taxes. Grand prize winner will receive a 1099 once the installation of the grand prize has been completed. The 1099 will be issued no later than January 31, 2024. Winner is responsible for all income tax associated with winning. Gutter Guards America, LLC does not provide guidance or advice on the grand prize winner’s taxes and fees. Grand prize winner should seek their own tax preparation expert for guidance. Winner must sign a W-9 before accepting prize.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By submitting information to the sweepstakes form, each eligible entrant agrees to hold harmless Gutter Guards America, LLC, its presidents, directors, employees, agencies, partners, or any entity or person affiliated with or employed by Gutter Guards America, LLC, in any damages that may arise from participation in the sweepstakes, including but not limited to: acceptance of grand prize, misuse of grand prize, use of Promotional Consent, and more.

USE OF INFORMATION

By submitting your entry into the sweepstakes, you give Gutter Guards America, LLC permission to use your information for other promotional purposes, including but not limited to: phone calls, text and SMS messages, email communications, mail communications, and more. Information collected through this sweepstakes will not be sold to others and will be used exclusively with Gutter Guards America, LLC.
